When the Railroad throws you a cure it good to have a backup plan!
Sorry the trains are on strike. Well we have to meet Joanne and Brian in Milan, so off we go into the wild blue yonder.
For the first month of the Retirement party we welcomed in Milan, Joanne and Brian. Srsich Cronin takes on Europe. We met up in Milan, Tried the pizza and maybe a Spritz or 12.
The Duomo in Milan is amazing. We broke a lot of rules and went to the Aperol Spritz bar that is a rooftop and faces the Duomo. First surprise all the Spritzes were 21 European dollars. So was the Negroni (Brian opted for the value play). The did surprise us with a huge treat plate that was included and the view was amazing. Other than the Aperol Spritz bar the eating and drinking in Milan was surprisingly affordable (not so much the Hotel but it too was lovely). It was a great start to the vacation and I had my first Lasagna as well. When we sync up our photos I will have some resturant and bar recomendations for you.
